Tonya brings many years of business management experience in the dental field and is highly knowledgeable about patient care, complex treatment planning, insurance, and interoffice communication. Many of you may know Tonya from her previous experience with us from 2012 to 2021 at our satellite office. Client service and patient satisfaction remain her top priorities and we look forward to her helping us to provide your patients with a safe, supportive, and comforting time with us.

Tonya is a true proud Austinite, and when not working, she enjoys time with her husband, two daughters, and grandkids. She loves travel, gardening, NASCAR and is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

She looks forward to working closely with all the dental and medical professionals we are honored to serve and to provide your patients with the highest quality surgical and dental implant care available.

Meet Amanda, our skilled Treatment Coordinator with a robust background in both analytics and insurance processes. Holding a bachelors degree from San Jose State University in Analytics, she applies her data-driven approach in treatment planning to enhance patient care. Her experience in navigating insurance coverages and guidelines aids in optimal coverage for our patients. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering personalized service, Amanda excels in coordinating treatments that align with both patient needs and administrative requirements.

Meet Marlene, our new patient coordinator and the first smiling face you will meet when you walk into our practice! With 25 years of experience in the dental field, Marlene brings a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of patient care. Born and raised in Texas, Marlene is not only a die-hard Cowboys and Longhorn fan, but she is also fluent in both English and Spanish and dedicated to providing exceptional support for all our patients. Outside of her professional life, Marlene cherishes time spent with her daughters and grandchildren, reflecting her commitment to nurturing relationships both at work and at home.

Meet Rae Lynn, our revered Lead Surgical Assistant. Rae Lynn joined our oral surgery practice on the 21st of June, 2001, starting her journey as a Licensed Registered Dental Assistant. After displaying her remarkable talent and dedication, Rae Lynn earned herself a well-deserved promotion, and now proudly holds the position of Lead Surgical Assistant.

Rae Lynn pursued her education from the renowned Tarleton State College. She majored in Animal Science, a choice that illuminates her profound love for animals. Being a intellectual person, she consistently broadens her horizons and applies her knowledge in her work domain, subtly influencing her practice with her extensive educational background.

Rae Lynn takes immense pride in being a part of our practice, always working hand in hand with the rest of our team. What she particularly loves about our practice is the opportunity to make patients feel well-informed about the services they will receive. She also delights in assisting Dr. Widner with implant surgeries – a process that she manages from beginning to end, and she continually learns from the experienced surgeon.

Being the resourceful “McGyver” of the team, Rae Lynn is known for her ability to find a solution for almost anything. She firmly believes in the power of knowledge and particularly the importance of attention to detail, thereby contributing significantly to the success of our practice.

While she shows great devotion to her professional life,Rae Lynn also cherishes her private moments. She and her family own a farm where they produce their own food and delight in managing and working on the land together. Her love for animals extends far beyond her academic studies. Rae Lynn has been raising sheep since 1993, loves horses immensely and is a loyal member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and American Heifer (AH), proving her to be a committed animal lover.

Rae Lynn’s motto that she lives by is the “Golden Rule”: treat others as one would wish to be treated oneself. This belief influences her actions both personally and professionally. Her dynamic persona combines her passion for her work, expertise in her field, and love for nature in a unique blend that enriches our practice.

Meet Judie, a highly skilled and experienced RN at our practice. With over 28 years of nursing experience and a background in dermatology, Judie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

Judie joined our practice in 2014 and has quickly become an integral part of our team. Prior to entering the field of nursing, Judie was a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University. However, her passion for patient care led her to pursue a career in nursing. She obtained her Associate degree from Our Lady of the Lake College of Nursing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

What Judie loves most about being a part of our practice is the commitment to excellence that runs through every aspect of our work. With an excellent surgeon at the helm, Judie is proud to be a part of a team that prioritizes perfection and puts patient care above all else.

As an RN, Judie contributes to the success of our practice in numerous ways. With 20 years of experience in the surgery suite, she brings invaluable knowledge and expertise to our team. But what truly sets her apart is her dedication to ensuring each patient fully understands their plan of care. Judie takes the time to patiently explain every aspect of the treatment process, ensuring our patients feel comfortable and well-informed.

Jaime’s journey in dentistry began when she completed the RDA program at UEI, graduating in May 2015. Her strong educational background and ongoing thirst for knowledge enable her to provide top-notch care for our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during surgical procedures.

What Jaime appreciates most about being a part of our practice is the strong sense of teamwork that permeates every aspect of our work. She firmly believes in the power of collaboration and recognizes that true success comes from the collective efforts of a dedicated group. Jaime finds joy in the fact that everyone in our practice shares this mindset and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Outside of work, Jaime cherishes her role as a loving wife and mother. Celebrating eight years of marriage, she and her husband are proud parents to two beautiful children, aged six and five. In her free time, Jaime gravitates towards activities related to water, particularly boating. This hobby allows her to recharge and enjoy the serenity that comes with being surrounded by nature.

Meet Kim, the dedicated Accounts Payable Manager & Payroll Manager at our esteemed oral surgery practice. Since joining our team in 2004, Kim has been an invaluable asset, ensuring seamless financial operations within our organization.

With a strong educational background from Stephen F. Austin BB, Kim possesses an impressive skill set that enables her to effectively manage the intricate financial aspects of our practice. Her expertise and attention to detail have contributed greatly to the growth and success of our oral surgery office.

Beyond her professional role, Kim cherishes her time spent with her loving family. She is married and is a proud parent of three children, all of whom have found their partners in life. Adding to the joy, Kim is also a doting grandparent to five adorable grandchildren, with number six on the way.

When she’s not crunching numbers or spending quality time with her loved ones, Kim enjoys indulging in some of her favorite activities. From engaging in family time to playing the stimulating game of Mahjong, she finds immense pleasure in building connections and creating lasting memories. Kim also values the importance of leading an active lifestyle, and can often be found taking leisurely walks to rejuvenate her mind and body.

Meet Jill, our talented Surgical Coordinator at our oral surgery practice. Jill has been an invaluable member of our team since October 2016. With a wealth of experience in oral surgery spanning over 33 years, she brings a deep understanding of the field to her role.

What Jill loves most about being a part of our practice is the vibrant atmosphere that permeates our office. Our incredible patients and the constant collaboration with referring doctors make each day exciting and fulfilling for her.
